The lowdown on testicular cancer.
We are Cahonas.
Scotland’s dedicated Testicular Cancer education, awareness and support charity.
We exist to save lives through early detection, open conversations, and support those diagnosed with Testicular Cancer shaped by real experience. Here is how we do it.
Raising awareness in the places it matters most.
We teach young people and men across Scotland how to check their testicles, what symptoms to look for, and when to speak up.
Our national campaigns break the silence around testicular cancer and our education sessions in schools, sports clubs, colleges, and workplaces make regular self checks part of everyday life.
Awareness that feels normal, not awkward. Knowledge that builds confidence, not fear.
Offering support shaped by real experience.
We support anyone facing testicular cancer with practical and emotional help shaped directly by survivors. This includes free You Have Got This cancer care packs, peer support, the Check One Two podcast, and focused guidance on recovery, mental health, fertility, sex, and daily life after diagnosis.
Support that answers real questions. Support that Scotland can rely on.
Building a community so no one feels alone.
We bring men together through informal peer spaces that feel natural, human, and free of awkwardness. Coffee meetups, survivor conversations, digital options, and our Check In Room at Cahonas HQ give men a comfortable place to talk openly and feel genuinely supported.
Our growing community network helps men share experiences, gain reassurance, and build connection during and after testicular cancer treatment.
Community that feels like friendship, not a service. Spaces that make testicular health conversations normal.
"In 2015 I was diagnosed and treated for testicular cancer. Thanks to the information provided by Cahonas Scotland I was able to perform a proper self check. This saved my life."
